Macy Castañeda Lee (Founder & Current Curator)

Macy is a 21 year old speaker, writer and photographer for mental health, social justice, and education. Macy has been a speaker in numerous universities, TEDx, & Google, and served as their campuses’ first United Nations Millennium Fellowship Director. They started Talang Dalisay, a mental health youth-led non-profit based in the Philippines and My State of Mind, which is its global branch based in numerous countries around the world. A recent graduate from UC Davis, they are interested in being able to connect people’s mental health stories through art. They’re passionate about all things collaboration and growth in these sectors.

Jiji is a 21 year old visual artist, disc jockey, programming director for KDVS 90.3 FM, and scholar-activist who graduated with two B.A. degrees in Anthropology and Asian American Studies at UC Davis. By facilitating cultural programs, they center their work around identity development, joy, and holistic healing via decolonial praxis. Moving forward, they find that it is important to prioritize the visibility of diasporic art and storytelling, so as to develop a critical consciousness across different communities.
